Whole Mimosa hostilis inner root bark chips are the best option for long term storage, but require further processing to use.
A coffee grinder or a blender is necessary to break up the large root bark pieces.
Ecological Information
All of our root bark is harvested in a sustainable way in our property.
We never cut the root off from the mimosa tree. We dig it out, strip the root bark and cover the roots again so they can regenerate. We wait at least one year until we go back to the same tree.
We do not use pesticides, agro-toxics or fertilizers. Our mimosa hostilis trees are grown just like they grow in nature, only getting the right amount of nutrients the dry soil of northern Brazil can provide.Usage Instructions
